Why build "Zero" Impact Homes?

A zero impact home is a self-sufficient home. For example it uses natural energy sources like rivers or solar panels.Fossil Fuels are gasoline, oil and coal. Burning fossil fuels releases carbon dioxide which traps heat in the ozone layer. It's important to use other types of energy sources to contribute to global warming.Overuse of water resources is not good for the envirement because of multiple reasons. You can cause drought and oil erosion and water polution. We get water from ponds and lakes and if we pollute it animals will die.Site considerations are extremely important when deciding where to build your home because we're depending on natural recourses to supply our house with energy. Also there can be natural disasters. Making a home that uses little fossil fuel is key to preserving the environment that we live in.

-We have a green house attached to our house so we can grow our own food it also can clean the air of our home. images.jpg

-We use transparent solar panels not only to act as one of our main sources of energy but also for windows.bus_integr_facade01.jpg

- Along with solar panels we have a river running through the house. The river running through the house also passes through a hydro-electiric generator providing the house with constant power as long as the river is flowing.

-This home will also have a green roof which can cool the house down, reduce heating cost, and provide cleaner water.PLAY.jpg

-This home has a floating feature which allows the home to lift up during seismic activity. This makes the home earthquake proof.

-This house will also have fish ladders so that any native fish swimming up stream and safely get up the river. Doing this will preserve all native fish and have zero impact on the river.
