Why build "Zero" Impact Homes?

A Zero impact Home is an enviormental house is a house barley using andy fossil fuels and using less energy. The house uses less energy saving water and using less electricity. Also it helps protect the environment by having an eco friendly side to it. -explain why reducing fossil fuel source electricity and heating use is good for the environment (make sure to talk about carbon dioxide and climate change)
Reducing fossil fuels will the atmosphere by not putting toxins in the air. When we are burning fossil fuels we are polluting the air. When we are using fossil fuels we create pollution. When we use less heat
-explain why overuse of our water resources is not good for the environment, especially in areas where there is not a lot (where do we get our water from? How does this impact plants and animals?) and why runoff from our homes can be a problem too (in areas with lots of rain)
Overuse of water is bad for the environment because in some places their is a low amount of water. In some cases that is bad because we need to water to survive and use for everyday things. In Ho Chi Minh City some people use rainwater for everyday things. The rain water rains into the gutter, then drained down to the plastic barrel. Rain is a very good source in Ho CHi Minh city, but sometimes their maybe too much rain. Rain sometimes effects plants, animals, and humans. Water might ruin houses for humans and animals. For plants it may drown them for the water that is surrounding them. Runoff water can ruin a houses flooding them. -explain why "site considerations" like climate information and path of sun information are important in designing a zero impact home Site considerations like he suns path is very important because when you put the windows or solar panel on your house you way to have the most direct sunlight. Climate is also very important because you want to have your house built for the area. If your area rains a lot you would want to have a gutter to collect the rain water.
